On Tuesday 7/ 1/ 2020  Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university visited the Church of the Virgin in Damietta with a large delegation of the  university staff to  congratulate the Coptic brothers on Christmas. Reverend Father Sarabamoun Metry , Father George, Member of Parliament; Mrs. Evelyn Matthew , Professor Maher William and representatives of the Church welcomed the University delegation. A number of attendees gave congratulatory words expressing their feelings of friendliness. The President of the University affirmed that that the different communities, sectors and groupings of the Egyptian nation are woven together into a single and he ended his speech with a message of support for President Abd Al Fattah El-Sisi, wishing him all the best and good luck.
