The Administrative Control Authority in Damietta organizes a symposium in cooperation with the university

             Today, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 , at Farouk Shousha Hall for Grand Celebrations, the symposium organized by the Office of the Administrative Control Authority in Damietta, in cooperation with the Damietta university, was held on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day ,in the presence of Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, Brigadier General / Adel El-Shenawy, Head of the Office of the Administrative Control Authority in Damietta, Lieutenant Colonel/ Mustafa Naguib, member of the Administrative Control Authority, Messrs. Vice-Presidents of the University, Deans and Vice-Deans of Faculties, faculty members, Secretary-General of the University, General Directors of the University, and the Student Union The university, a number of university students, and a number of members of the university's alumni association (under construction). The President of the University expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Administrative Control Authority for its major role in combating corruption and spreading the values ??and concepts of transparency and integrity. Brigadier General/  Adel El-Shenawy, Head of the Office of the Administrative Control Authority in Damietta, stressed the efforts adopted by the state to combat corruption, as the Egyptian state is aware of the seriousness of corruption as a basic obstacle to sustainable development and an obstacle to administrative reform and good governance. He also reviewed, during the main lecture of the symposium, the international and regional agreements that the Egyptian state has joined in the field of combating corruption. Brigadier General Adel El-Shenawy gave a presentation on the definition of corruption, the oversight bodies from the perspective of the Egyptian constitution, the role of the Administrative Oversight Authority in preventing and combating corruption, and the objectives of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030. A documentary film entitled "Fighting Corruption" was shown, which included many of the oversight authority's efforts in combating corruption and the support it allocated at all levels, as well as the objectives of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030. After that, the discussion was begun. It is worth noting that on December 9, 2014, the first phase of the national anti-corruption strategy was launched under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Republic from the headquarters of the Administrative Control Authority, which is the date corresponding to the International Anti-Corruption Day, as an affirmation of the political will supporting the state institutions concerned with preventing and combating corruption, and committees were established The executive committee entrusted with the implementation and follow-up of the objectives and policies included in the strategy. On December 9, 2018, corresponding to the International Anti-Corruption Day, which coincided with the closing day of the Africa Forum 2018, the President of the Republic launched the second phase of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019/2022 as part of the final decisions of the Forum.
