On Tuesday 13 / 7 / 2021 , Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the President of the university, inspected the surveillance camera control room at the university’s new campus in the recently opened second phase, serving 10,000 male and female students, and comprising 30 auditoriums and 40 classrooms, in the presence of Colonel Mohamed Shalata, Director of Personnel and Facilities Security. And a number of administrative security supervisors, officials of the chamber. The CCTV control room includes many TV screens that display a live broadcast of 83 CCTV cameras distributed throughout the second phase and works on full coverage of the auditoriums and classrooms by recording all events. The CCTV control room also operates during the power outage period, as the room and cameras are provided with batteries that maintain the regularity of the camera system’s work even during a power outage.The camera system is among the measures taken by the university to develop the administrative security system, which started with the help of security companies and then the use of modern camera systems due to the expansion of the academic administrative work space to cope with the growing volume and quality of work inside the university, which is multiplying day by day.
