Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Acting President of Damietta University, participated in the celebration held by the Investors Association on the annual day of New Damietta City, where the celebration was attended by Professor Dr. Manal Awad, Governor of Damietta , Mr. Islam Ibrahim, Deputy Governor of Damietta, Dr. Osama Hafila, President of the Investors Association, Major General Ahmed Hawash, Chairman of the Damietta Port Authority, M. Mohamed Khalafallah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Damietta City, and Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybani, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the University, and a number of deans and university leaders , members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and a group of security and executive leaders. The president of the university has expressed his pleasure in attending the annual celebration of the new city of Damietta, and the passage of 43 years since the decision of the Prime Minister to establish it in 1980.
