The result of the Ui Green Metric Ranking of Green Universities was announced today.

And 12 Egyptian universities (9 public + 3 private) appeared in this classification out of a total of 956 participating universities.

Damietta University ranked 462 globally, thus the university advanced 193 from last year, which was then 655 globally.

It is worth noting that this classification is based on six criteria that measure the extent to which universities are committed to participating in the development of environmentally friendly infrastructure, geographical location, waste management and climate change, water use, transportation, education and scientific research.

Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour extends his sincere congratulations to the university's affiliates for the remarkable progress witnessed by the university's classification in various international classifications.

The President of the University also extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and for the classification, tabulation, monitoring, ranking and classification team of the university led by Professor Dr. Amani Al-Diasty for their unparalleled efforts in updating information about the university and following up on the various classifications to monitor the advanced positions the university has reached.
