On Monday , 30/4/2018, at 10 am, the University Council held its 101st session  in the new campus of the University. Headed by ,the  President of the University Professor , Dr El Sayed Mohamad Dadour in the presence of   the Vice-Presidents of the University, the deans of the colleges ,the Secretary-General of the University ,Professor ,Dr Nahed Khedr ; Supervisor of the establishment of the College of Nursing. Professor, Dr. Fekry Salem ; Supervisor of establishing  of the Faculty of Engineering and Prof, Consultant. Mohamad Fawzy –Legal  Counsel  of the President of the University. and Professor , Dr . Mohamad Omran Wadi  Director of University  Quality Assurance Center Dr. Dadour Welcomed the attendance and  congratulated them on the occasion of Labor Day and Sinai Liberation Day . He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian armed forces for their role in the time of war and peace to protect the land of Egypt, He also extended his congratulations on the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities to start the study at the Faculty of Law next year . They discussed many topics and issued several decisions such as :

- Appointment of (6) six  assistant lecturer.

-Granting the doctorate degree to a number of (2) two researchers.

-Granting a master's degree to (6) six researchers.

-Granting  a scientific title (4) professor at the faculties of the university.

- Approval of the grant of  ( 650) Egyptian  pounds to the employees of the administrative staff of the university .

-Approval of the transfer of professor Dr.  Samir Hamed Abd El Aziz, Professor of Civil Law Faculty of Law, Banha University to the Faculty of Law, Damietta University.
