The president of the university Professor, Dr.El Sayed Mohamad Dadour decided to appoint Professor  Dr. Tarek Abd El Hamid El Metwaly Attia, Professor of Civil Engineering at the University, as the  Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Damietta University, Dr. El Metwaly was  also appointed  as an Engineering Consultant for the president of the university .
