The President of the University congratulates Dr. Ahmed Awad for being chosen as director of the World Weightlifting Championship for the Blind

Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, extends his sincere congratulations to Dr. Ahmed Awad, Assistant Professor of Sports Training, Faculty of Physical Education, for being chosen as the director of the competition in the World Weightlifting and Bench Championships for the Blind, which is being held for the first time in Egypt, as well as the director of the competition in the African Championship for Weightlifting and Bench, which is being held in Egypt for the first time The second, from March 22-29, 2022 in Alexandria, was chosen by the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA). Many champions of determination from more than 20 countries will participate in the tournament, and the competitions will continue for a week at the end of March 2022.

It is worth noting that Dr. Ahmed Awad has previously been selected as a member of the WFA Weightlifting Federation of Africa’s Training and Research Committee, and serves as an international referee for weightlifting as well as a lecturer for the International Weightlifting Federation.
