Today, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, welcomed a delegation from the Supreme Council of Universities for Digital Transformation, which included:

Director of the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of University

- Eng. Ashraf Mustafa Naguib

Engineer in the Egyptian Universities Network

- Eng. Esraa Ahmed Ismail

Coordinator of electronic exams at the Supreme Council of Universities

Today's visit comes to accredit two centers (Digital Transformation Services Unit at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and the Scientific Computation Center) at Damietta University to train, test and grant certificates for the basics of digital transformation to faculty members, the assistant staff and graduate students at the university.

The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Ahmed Al-Harby, Coordinator of Digital Transformation at the Scientific Account Center, Dr. Ahmed Talaat, Coordinator of Digital Transformation at the University, and Dr. El-Sayed Al-Qarnshawi. Professor Dr. Hamdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, chaired the committee to nominate the Dean of the College of Physical Education during the time of the distinguished delegation's visit. Today's visit comes as part of the university's efforts in the digital transformation file led by the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at the Deanship of Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Qader Awad, Dean of the College, and to implement the Egyptian state's vision in the file of digital transformation.
