This morning, Thursday, December 2, 2021, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, witnessed the procedures for the elections of the President and Vice President of the University Students’ Union, as well as secretaries and assistant secretaries of the Student Union committees, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Chairman of the Higher Supervision Committee on Student Elections. Members of the Higher Supervision Committee on Student Elections also attended, and they are:

1-      Professor Dr. Samir El-Gamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, and Legal Adviser to the President of the University

2-      Dr. Essam El-Desouky, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Psychology and Mental Health, Faculty of Education

3-      Mr. Mohamed Refaat, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare

4-      Student/ Mohamed El-Sayed Hassan (Faculty of Nursing)

5-      Student Ritaj Maged Ibrahim (Faculty of Agriculture)

A number of faculty members and the administrative staff who participated in the student elections procedures since its launch on Thursday, November 18, 2021, also attended.

Elections were held for secretaries and assistant secretaries of the Student Union committees, as well as the president and vice president of the University Student Union, in the presence of male and female students, members of the University Student Union Council. The elections resulted in the winning of:

Anas Al-Gamal (College of Engineering) is the Chairman of the University Student Union Council

Yasmine Atef (Faculty of Archeology) as Vice-President of the University Student Union Council

The President of the University congratulated the winning male and female students, stressing the importance of the Student Union, which represents all university students to express their views and requirements. For them to express their opinions, as well as discover students' talents and abilities in various fields, as well as maximize the use of students' constructive energies and employ them in community service, and discover and refine student leaders. The President of the University also thanked the student / Mohamed Issa, the former president of the Student Union, and all members of the former Student Union for their efforts and student activities, wishing them more excellence and success in the coming period. The President of the University congratulated the university students on the occasion of the end of this elections, wishing them all success in carrying out all the activities of the student families entrusted to them.
