Today, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the educational symposium "The New Republic ... Hopes and Challenges" was held under the auspices of Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, which was moderated by Professor Dr. Samy Abd Al-Aziz. The symposium was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector under the supervision of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the field organization was carried out by the General Department of Student Welfare under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed Refaat, the Director General of the General Department for Student Welfare. The symposium was attended by Professor Dr. Abd Al Hamed Abd Al-Fattah El-Sayed Khedr, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and a number of deans and vice-deans of faculties, faculty members and the administrative staff. The activities of the symposium, presented by Dr. Mohamad Maher, Assistant Professor of Linguistics and Head of the Arabic Language Department, at the Faculty of Arts in the Republican Peace, began, followed by a speech by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany. During the university’s president’s speech, during which he welcomed Professor Dr. Sami Abd Al Aziz, one of the scientific and media figures at Cairo University in particular, and the field of media in general, stressing that the symposium will witness great benefit from its topic, the New Republic.... Hopes and challenges due to the experience of Professor Dr. Sami Abd Al Aziz Academic and practical in explaining its concepts. After that, Professor Dr. Sami Abd Al Aziz started the symposium, which was characterized by positive interaction between his Excellency and the attendance of male and female students, deans and vice deans of faculties, faculty members and the administrative staff. The axes of the symposium revolved around the integrated marketing and communication strategy to preserve the new republic, its main principles and themes, and the most prominent challenges and efforts of the Egyptian state and the political leadership in this regard. The symposium won the admiration of the attendees, including male and female students, deans and vice deans of faculties, faculty members and the administrative staff, due to the methods of explaining concepts, interaction, positivity and clarity. The President of the University presented the university’s shield to Professor Dr. Sami Abd Al Aziz in appreciation of him and in gratitude for the hassle of traveling from Cairo to Damietta to deliver the lecture. It is worth mentioning that Professor Dr. Samy Abd Al Aziz is currently the Head of the Media Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities. He has previously held the Dean of the Faculty of Media at Cairo University, in addition to being a professor in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Media at Cairo University and one of the most prominent experts in Egypt and the Arab world in Integrated Marketing Communications for more than 30 years.
