Applications open for the UNESCO Mendeleev International Prize 2022

           In light of what was received from the Department of International Organizations and Conferences in the General Administration of Cultural Relations of the Supreme Council of Universities, including the announcement of UNESCO’s invitation to member states to send their nominations for the UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize in Basic Sciences 2022, those who wish to apply for this award should review the conditions of the award and the documents Required from the candidate as well as submitting applications and documents online through a dedicated form available on the web page for submitting applications in English or French no later than March 1, 2022 so that the committee can examine and review the attached documents and take the necessary actions and send them to the UNESCO department before the end of the submission deadline On March 15, 2022, by entering and viewing the following link:

The award aims to support excellence in basic sciences in the disciplines of chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology, as the award provides the basis on which to disseminate scientific knowledge that is essential to the advancement of innovation, sustainable development and the development of human societies, and Providing reward and appreciation for scientific achievements in terms of development and international cooperation in basic sciences that have a significant impact on the local and global scale.
