Sponsored by professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the  President of the university, on Thursday 2 / 5/ 2019  the faculty  of Engineering organized  a colloquium on the Egyptian space program and Egypt's successful experience in this field.  This is supervised by professor Dr. Abd El Hamed El Sayed  Khedr –the vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. Professor Dr. Tarek Abd Al Hameed Metwaly -  the dean of the faculty of Engineering , professor Dr. Ahmed Abd Al Razek Soltan – the  coordinator, organized the   event where professor Dr. Waleed Mostafa Radwan - Head of the Strategic Studies Unit of the Egyptian Space Agency lectured. The symposium aimed at defining the establishment of the Egyptian Space Agency and the most important information on space science.
