Today, Thursday, November 18, 2021, Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university witnessed the launch of the Student Union elections in various faculties of the university in a celebration organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, led by Professor Dr. Wael Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the participation of all university faculties students and a family of students for Egypt. The celebration began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by the speech of the student Anas El-Gamal, representing the Students for Egypt family. This was followed by the speech of Professor Dr. Wael Al-Taibany, during which he welcomed the male and female students participating in the celebration, and urged all students from different faculties of the university to participate in the Student Union elections. After that, the speech of Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, in which he welcomed male and female students, and expressed his happiness for the launch of the student union elections in the faculties of the university today, stressing that the student union is the best representative of the voice of male and female students, and is a unique opportunity to establish constructive activities and exploit the distinguished abilities of students and female students. The president of the university also urged his sons and daughters, male and female students, to actively participate in the elections within the framework of fair competition and cooperation from all participants. After that, a number of memorial photos were taken for male and female students in the presence of the President of the University. It is worth noting that today, Thursday, November 18, 2021, witnesses the opening of the door for candidacy for the student union elections in various university faculties, the withdrawal and submission of forms, passing through the announcement of the preliminary lists, receiving appeals, announcing the final lists, procedures for electoral propaganda and announcing the results, then the run-off, the elections of committee secretaries and their assistants at the college level, then Elections for the president and vice-president of the colleges will be held on 1/12/2021, while the elections for the president of the University Students’ Union, his deputy, and the secretaries of the committees of the University Students’ Union and their assistants will be held on Thursday, 12/22021.
