Important announcement University Center for Professional Development

               Damietta University announces to the university’s affiliates from among the administrators and young faculty members and the university’s supporting staff, a number of jobs to build the staff of the University Center for Professional Development to serve students and graduates with the support of the United States Agency for International Development and in technical cooperation with the Career Counseling Center at the American University in Cairo. The Career Development Center aims to develop the skills of university students in planning their career path and developing their professional skills necessary to join the contemporary labor market. The Center will also coordinate with the corporate and business community to provide training and vocational opportunities and experiential education programs for students. In addition to opportunities for direct communication and joint cooperation with the university administration, the center will also play an effective role in reaching entrepreneurs and building a positive working environment that supports them, develops their capabilities, and improves their results. Accordingly, the university announces a number of vacancies required to build the staff of the Professional Development Center. All selected workers will participate in a comprehensive program to build their functional capabilities in the areas of facilitating professional development activities. Studying the labor market, training trainers, working with people with disabilities, and reaching entrepreneurs. Qualified and experienced professionals from the American University in Cairo, the International Labor Organization, and a number of other bodies and institutions will participate in the courses. Gentlemen who are interested and who meet the conditions should apply for vacancies in the center:

 Center Director: Responsible for formulating the vision and strategic plan for the center, leading the professional development of students, leading the staff of the center, and building relationships and partnerships with university units and the business community in the governorate.

Recruitment and Employer Relations Officer: Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of activities to provide job opportunities for university students, building a link between the business community and students, and organizing recruitment events at the university.

Data and information specialist: Responsible for the center's technical and administrative information systems, supporting the center's staff and students with regard to technology and collecting, managing and analyzing data related to student services. General Terms

The applicant must be a registered employee of the university or a faculty member

The resume should be submitted in Arabic and English to the receiving committee, which is located in the Public Relations Department in the Office of the Prof. / President of the University in the new General Administration, the last floor, starting from Monday 9/4/2023 until Thursday 9/14/2023 from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon noon.
