Today, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University,welcomed Mr. Ali Shoeeb, a journalist on the Egyptian Radio, presented him with a certificate of appreciation on the occasion of Mr. Ali Shoeeb joining the membership of the General Syndicate of “Egypt Writers Union” in appreciation and gratitude from the university to the people of Damietta Governorate from Intellectuals and writers, as the university is a center of cultural radiation and is inseparable from the cultural movement and intellectuals in Damietta Governorate. Professor Ali Shueeb dedicated his last book, "Woman from Down the River" to the president of the university, and the university president thanked him, wishing him continued success. On the same cultural and literary issue, the president of the university welcomed Professor Nasser El-Ezaby, the writer and theater critic, and a former general manager of the Giza and Damietta culture palaces, following the symposium he gave at the Faculty of Arts entitled “Theatrical Process between Text and Theatrical Performance”, where the university president thanked him and appreciated him for accepting the invitation of the Faculty of Arts. Arts to deliver the symposium to benefit from his theatrical, literary and artistic experiences. Professor Nasser Al-Ezaby expressed his happiness at his presence today in the seminar that was implemented by the Faculty of Arts, and he would welcome any invitation to hold such seminars at the university.
