This afternoon, the President of the University welcomed Dr. Reham Mohamad Mohamad Nada, Professor of Cell Specialization and Genetics, Department of Plant and Microbiology, at the Faculty of Science, who was promoted in the previous university council session on 3/28/2022 for a promotion of scientific excellence, as her research was not arbitrated by the Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities. Due to the publication of all her research in first-level journals worldwide. Most of her research is concerned with rice cultivation, and the president of the university congratulated her for her scientific excellence and asked her to continue conducting distinguished research, as well as adopting teaching assistants in the department to form a distinguished scientific school, as she now serves as a role model for all young researchers at the university, and the university president offered her how to support her in her next research activity. She stated that she needed a place to apply some of her research in the field of rice cultivation, and the president of the university directed the possibility of doing this at the Agricultural Research Center in Abu Geraidah, which is affiliated with the College of Agriculture. She also asked the president of the university to support her in a research project on rice cultivation in cooperation with the State of China, and he promised her to communicate with the Academy of Scientific Research in order to facilitate the procedures of the research project, and promised to provide financial support from the university. At the end of the meeting, he wished her and the scientific department continued success. He also praised the role of the department’s professors for their good scientific care throughout the previous years.
