This morning, Sunday, August 22, 2021 professor Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the university’s pavilion at the Higher Education Exhibition organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, under the patronage of professor Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and it will be held from August 22-23, with the participation of 40 universities and institutes, at the Fairgrounds in Nasr City, in the presence of professor Dr. Neveen Jameh, Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Abdel-Sadeq Al-Shorbagy, President of the National Press Authority, journalist Ahmed Galal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, journalist writer Refaat Fayyad, managing editor of Akhbar Al-Youm, and professor Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, media advisor and official spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education, and a group of university presidents and leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education, and a number of faculty members and students. During his visit to the university's pavilion, the Minister listened to a detailed explanation given by professor Dr. Yasser Abd Al Aziz Samra, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, for the different educational programs offered by the university in its various faculties, especially the recently developed programs. The University Council, headed by  professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, approved in its session last month the university’s participation in the educational exhibition, which aims to promote the best programs and specializations offered by the various university faculties, as well as display the various specializations in each of the university’s faculties and the conditions for admission to them. The exhibition also contributes To help students choose the specialization appropriate to their abilities and skills. It is worth noting that many distinguished study programs have been introduced in recent years, such as:

College of Science:

• Petroleum Geology and Mining Program.
• Molecular Biology Program.
• Biotechnology Program.

 Faculty of Education:

• Preparation of the basic education teacher "Mathematics specialization in English"

college of Literature:

• Geographical information systems, surveying sciences and planning
• The "Polyglot" program at the Faculty of Arts, where the student studies the new program at the bachelor's level in three languages: English, French and German, and this program is the first and only of its kind in all Egyptian universities, and a graduate of this program will find many job opportunities that the labor market needs in the fields of translation Tourism, foreign trade and the diplomatic field.

Faculty of Archaeology:

• Management of archaeological and heritage sites.

Commerce College:

• Study program in English.

Faculty of Computing and Information:

• medical informatics program.
