Under the guidance of professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour -  the president of the university , for all the various sectors of the university to exert efforts in all forms, and within the framework of the constant pursuit and continuous efforts of the postgraduate studies and research sector under the supervision of professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Attia, Vice President for Postgraduate  Studies and Research, the university advanced from the center 1604 Globally in Google Scholar citations, Webometrics ranked according to the results of the July 2020 release to "1447 globally" according to the results of the January 2021 release. Thus, the university advanced 157 centers at the global level in an unprecedented boom for the university. The results showed a total number of citations of "40545" during this release compared to "35895" in the previous version. Damietta University's assumption of advanced positions in all international classifications comes within the priorities of professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour -  the president of the university , as he is always keen to provide material and moral support to the graduate studies and research sector to develop scientific research and support the capabilities of young researchers, faculty members and scientists at the university.  Where the incentives for scientific publication in international journals have increased to encourage them to raise the rate of publication and improve the quality of scientific research outputs.

It is also worth noting the distinguished effort of the team of the University's International Classification and Publishing Unit Team headed by Dr. Amany Al-Dyasti, in following up on uploading the university's faculty members to their research papers to the scientific researcher and updating them continuously.
