Congratulations to Egypt's delegation in the Tokyo Olympics 2020

         Professor , Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour - the  President of the University, Professor , Dr. Abd Al Hamed Khedr, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, Professor , Dr. Hemdan Rabie, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Professor , Dr. Wael Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education, Students, Deans, Faculty members, and The administrators and students, all extend their sincere congratulations to the Minister Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Sports, and to Eng. Hisham Hatab, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee and head of the Egyptian delegation in the Tokyo Olympics, for the appearance of the Egyptian sports delegation for the Tokyo Olympics in an honorable form in which the Egyptian youth competed in this global forum with all honor. and sportsmanship. Which is the supreme target of international sports competitions, which is the refinement of conscience and mind control over strength and speed. Those who are inferior to him are in accordance with the law of the jungle, and in this civilized manner man has preserved the human race from the use of the superior in physical strength over their peers to destroy others through the laws of mathematics and the rules of the games. Damietta university extends thanks to the members of the mission who spared no effort to make the Egyptians so proud , and it is special to mention those who succeeded in obtaining medals and were able to raise the flag of Egypt among the winners:

- Egyptian Champion Ferial Ashraf - Karate Gold medal

- Egyptian hero Ahmed El-Gendy - silver medal modern pentathlon.

- Egyptian Champion Hedaya Malak - Taekwondo Bronze medal.

- Egyptian champion Seif Issa - Taekwondo Bronze medal.

- Egyptian champion Mohamed Ibrahim Kisho - wrestling Bronze medal.

- Egyptian Champion Gianna Farouk - Karate Bronze medal.

The university also extends a special congratulations to Damietta, the honorable colleague. Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Amin, from Damietta , President of the Handball Federation, for the honorable appearance that the handball team appeared in front of the emperors of the world and the masters of the game, and wishes the team to continue at this level. The university also extends sincere congratulations to. Professor Dr. Sameh Shabrawy, head of the Technical Committee of the Karate Federation and delegate at the university to teach Karate at the Faculty of Physical Education, and a participant in the various postgraduate programs in the faculty.
