Within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics and Damietta University, on 24/08/2021, the university hosted Major General/ Reda Abdel Azim - Head of the Central Administration of the Suez Canal Region, And General / Tarek Abdul Rahman Khater - General Director of the General Administration of Dakahlia,to held a seminar on income, expenditure and consumption research for 2021/2022 at the university new campus in preparation for conducting field work that the Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics periodically undertakes every two years where it provides many reliable data to measure the standard of living of families and individuals . It includes information on measuring poverty and measuring the rate of inflation. The seminar also included various elements from Damietta, Dakahlia and Port Said governorates.
