Today, Wednesday, corresponding to 10/13/2021, Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the President of the University, welcomed a number of officials of the Nile Valley Company, the executor of the university hospital project to be established in the Fourth District, on an area of ??27 thousand square meters. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Ashraf Talaat, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine, Engineer Ahmed Gamal Al-Tobshi, consultant of the New Urban Communities Authority, Professor Dr. Abdullah El-Sayed, Director of the Center for Eng. Studies and Consultations at Damietta University, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Zuhairi, Secretary General of the University, and Eng. Mohamed El-Ghazawi and Eng. Mohamed attended from Wadi El-Nile Company Abu Tahoun and Eng. Ahmed Hassan

Mrs. Noha Al-Ghobashi, Director General of Purchasing and Stores, Mrs. Sarah Shanshan, Director General of Budget and Accounts, Eng.r Hanan Al-Halafawi, Director General of Engineering Affairs, and Mr. Ihab Fawzy, Director of Budgeting Department also attended.

The meeting dealt with the latest developments in the architectural designs of the university hospital and the construction system to be followed during the construction process of the hospital, where it is decided to follow the partial system in the construction, meaning the completion of each building separately and its entry into the actual operation process without waiting for the completion of other buildings. The meeting also dealt with the general features of the university hospital project, which is scheduled to accommodate 400 beds, 20 operating rooms, and 10 intensive care rooms. The work of the first phase, which is scheduled to accommodate outpatient clinics, radiology, emergency, physical therapy, and a cardiac catheterization unit, is scheduled to start within a month. The president of the university urged the officials of the Nile Valley Company to follow the timetable and adhere to it to complete this project, which is a national project for the Damietta society, stressing that the establishment of the university hospital will make a qualitative leap in the medical services in the governorate.
