Today, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour President of the University, witnessed the festive celebration organized by the Faculty of Physical Education to receive the first year in the college and the first batch of the girls’ division, on the occasion of the start of the academic year 2021/2022. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamad Ali Abu Shwareb, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, and a number of faculties' deans, faculty members and the administrative staff.

The celebration was presented by Professor Dr. Hamdy Al-Nawasry, the sports training teacher at the college, and the celebration program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. During the university president’s speech, he welcomed, male and female students of the college, stressing his happiness to start studying in the girls’ division, which is a distinguished addition to the university’s faculties and to the Damietta community because of its great role in maintaining public health by practicing various physical sports within the sections designated for women in sports clubs and various places in the designated governorate. He also affirmed his pride in the College of Physical Education and because of its distinguished position among the university’s faculties in preparing the future youth as it is the university’s sports college and a factory for the champions of various games, and for the high professionalism of the college students in organizing sports activities and sports shows for various games in events held by the university Professor Dr. Mohamad Abu Shwareb presented the Holy Qur’an to Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, and a number of female students of the Girls’ Division presented a number of souvenir pictures that they drew themselves, and the university president gave them sincere thanks, appreciating their artistic touches in addition to their athletic talents.
