Cooperation with the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology

         Today, Tuesday afternoon, November 9, 2021, Professor  Dr. Elsayed Mohamad Dadour President of Damietta University, signed a cooperation protocol with his counterpart Professor Dr.   Ahmed El-Gohary, President of the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology E-JUST, in the presence of Professor Dr. Satoshi Goto, Vice President of the Egyptian-Japanese University for Research and Professor   Dr.  Sameh Nada, Vice President of the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology for Academic Affairs and Education. The protocol includes cooperation between the two universities in the fields of joint scientific research, laboratory experiments, joint publishing, exchange of experiences in the field of technology and academies, cooperation in the field of conferences, seminars and student activities, and providing assistance in the field of capacity development. The president of the university had visited the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology this morning to sign the protocol, and he was welcomed by Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Gohary, the president of the university. The President of Damietta University was accompanied to visit the university's landmarks, where he praised its facilities, furnishing and equipment that allow modern learning. It is known that the two universities were recently honored in the celebration of the Supreme Council of Universities for Excellence in Scientific Publishing, where Damietta University won the first place in international scientific publishing among newly established universities, achieving an impact of 2.46, which is the highest impact among all ancient or modern Egyptian universities compared to With the ratio of research published in internationally distinguished journals to the number of faculty members at Damietta University, the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology also won the second place among private universities for excellence in international scientific publishing on the web of science website, during the previous three years. This cooperation benefits both parties and their affiliates, including students, professors, leaders and administrators in all academic and research fields.
