The university president inaugurates the second exhibition of the Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture

           Today, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the President of the University, inaugurated the second exhibition of the Horticulture Department, which is organized by the College of Agriculture, in the presence of Professor Dr. Abd Al Hamid El-Sayed Khedr, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. He was welcomed by Professor Dr. El-Metwally Moustafa Sleem, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the Vice-Deans of the College, a number of faculty members, and a number of male and female students. Where His Excellency inspected the exhibition of ornamental plants in the college as a graduation project implemented by male and female students of the Horticulture Division of the College of Agriculture under the supervision of Professor Dr. Al-Metwaly Selim, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and Professor Dr. Moustafa Maher, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Shiha, Vice Dean of the College. for Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development and Professor Dr. / Nahed Rashed, Head of the Vegetables and Ornamental Department. Which aims to apply students what they have theoretically learned about how to reuse pruning outputs in preparing a nursery as a nucleus for a project. The exhibition also aims to identify students  the various departments of the College of Agriculture and the various faculties of the university on ornamental plants of all kinds. They also inspected an exhibition of some vegetable and fruit plants that have been working to provide a suitable climate for each type of plant. The university president expressed his admiration for the work of the students of the Horticulture Division, appreciating their efforts over the past months in implementing the graduation projects, which culminated today in this civilized appearance and the exhibition expressing the importance of the Horticulture Division and the College of Agriculture, which undertakes the beautification and afforestation of the new university campus.
