Professor Dr. El Sayed  Mohamad  Dadour  the president of the University issued the executive decision appointing Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Hamed Al Taybany – as Vice President of Damietta University for Education and Student Affairs for four years. Professor Dr. Wael Al Taybany is one of the most distinguished scientists in the field of theoretical plasma physics related to space . He received many awards, including Abd Al Hameed Shoman Award from Jordan in Geology and Physics in 2005, then the State Encouragement Prize from the Academic Research Academy in Physical Sciences in 2015, and he also received the first-class distinction from President Abd Al Fattah Al - Sisi 2017 . He also holds a fellowship scholarship at the University of Tokyo, and is also a visiting researcher at the University of Waseda, Japan.
