The President of the University witnesses the inauguration of the” Mwada Project in Universities”

            Today, Sunday, September 4, 2022, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University witnessed the inauguration of the “Mwada Project in Universities” in cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Higher Education, which was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector under the leadership of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare. Under the supervision of Mr. Mohamad Refaat, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare and the project's administrative coordinator. The activities of the project, which was held in Amphitheater 206B, began with the Republican Peace, then with the speech of the guests, who are Professor Dr. Mohamed Fawzy Waly, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Damanhour University, and Professor Ahmed Abbas, the Executive Coordinator of the Mwada Project, who thanked the President of the University for hosting the Mwada Project. The project aims to prepare cadres of faculty members capable of communicating messages about the affection project. During the university’s president’s speech, he thanked the attendees and stressed the importance of the university’s role in the institutional form to prepare and build people for the future. He also thanked Professor Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, the former Minister of Higher Education for adopting the project and approving its establishment within universities. He also thanked Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education for Complete the project and follow it up personally. The activities of the training workshops for the preparation of trainers will continue over two days, during which faculty members will be trained to implement the scientific content of affection within the university, which will provide students with a package of basic information dealing with family life from psychological and social aspects, legal aspects, and aspects of reproductive health. Among the most important of this information is; Sound foundations for choosing a life partner, rights and duties between spouses, positive communication, acceptance of differences, and conflict management, in addition to a special part on reproductive health in terms of the importance of conducting a medical examination before marriage, postponing the first child and spacing between births, in addition to providing them with a set of training skills And carry out practical exercises during the last day of training. It is worth noting that Damietta University is the 23rd university that is included in the "Mwada" project to preserve the entity of the Egyptian family.
