Today, Wednesday, corresponding to June 15, 2022  Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, participated in the inauguration of the expansions of Al-Azhar University Hospital in the new city of Damietta, based on the invitation of Professor Dr. Mohamad Al-Mahrasawy, President of Al-Azhar University, to participate in inspecting the expansions of Al-Azhar University Hospital and laying the foundation stone for the Kidney and Urology Hospital Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar, Damietta. Professor Dr. Osama Al-Abd, former president of Al-Azhar University, and a number of deputies, members of the Senate, Professor Dr. Mohamad Al-Amir, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Lower Egypt, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Siddeek, Vice President for Graduate Studies, and Professor Dr. Rashed Mohamad Rashed, Dean of the University participated in the inauguration activities. The Faculty of Medicine for Boys, Professor Dr. Mohamad Abd Al-Aal, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Girls, and a group of leaders and faculty members in the faculties of Al-Azhar University. The participation of Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, is an expression of the spirit of cooperation between Al-Azhar and Damietta Universities, especially after placing the capabilities of Al-Azhar University Hospital at the disposal of the Faculty of Medicine at Damietta University until the completion of the university hospital of the faculty, which is built on an area of ??27,400 square meters in the Fourth District.

Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour thanked Professor Dr. Mohamad al-Mahrasawy for his cooperation in this regard, which was confirmed by Professor Dr. Mohamad al-Mahrasawy that students of the Faculty of Human Medicine are welcomed to train at the university hospital at any time. Professor Dr. Mohamad Al-Mahrasawy expressed all means of cooperation with Damietta University, while Professor Dr. Rashed Mohamad Rashed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Boys, confirmed that a health scheduling work with the Faculty of Human Medicine at Damietta University, during which days will be set to receive emergency cases affiliated with Damietta University until the completion of the university hospital.
