Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour  the president of the university congratulated the professors who are the scientists of the Faculty of Science :

   •     Professor Dr. Abd Al-Gawad Mohamad Mohamad Ahmed Rady - Professor Emeritus, Department of Chemistry, College of Science.

   •       Professor Dr. Adel Zaky Hafez Al-Sunbaty - Professor Emeritus, Department of Chemistry, College of Science.

The American Stanford University recently issued a list of "the top 2% of the world's scientists" the most cited in various disciplines and their total number is about 160,000 scientists from 149 countries, based on the Scopus database in 22 scientific disciplines and 176 subspecialties for researchers who have published at least 5 Research papers . The list included two scientists from the university of Damietta mentioned above, among the 396 Egyptian scientists from various universities and research centers.
