Based on the state’s keenness to encourage creative scientists and innovators from researchers and thinkers, an annual award was allocated at its first session this year under the name of the "Prof. / Sedik Afify award for Scientific Research, Innovation and Literature" for 2020/2021 .

The nomination deadline for the award is from January 3/1/2021 to March 6/3/2021
