The team of the Faculty of Engineering at Damietta University, DU Racing Team, achieved first place in the EVER Egypt IV competition (concept class) under the auspices of the Presidency of the Egyptian Council of Ministers and the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship ihub of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, among the Egyptian universities participating in the competition that was held today in Sharm El-Sheikh in the presence of Professor Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Higher Research. And the results of the competition were announced a while ago, where the Damietta University DU Racing Team achieved the first place in the competition, Al-Azhar University came in second place, and the third place went to the Aviation Institute. Moments ago, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, made a phone call to the students of the Faculty of Engineering who represented the university immediately after the result was announced, and congratulated them and Dr. Abdullah Mohamad El-Sayed, assistant professor of electrical engineering in Damietta Engineering, who supervised their project, and invited them to visit him at the beginning of next week, he promised them a financial reward to encourage them. The president of the university also congratulated them on the blessed month of Ramadan, reassured them of their safety and wished them the best of wishes.
