Discussion of the first master’s degree at the Faculty of Law at Damietta University

        Today, Sunday, February 6, 2022, a public discussion of the master's degree presented by Major Hani Al-Baily entitled "Cryptocurrencies and the Future of Central Banks" was held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamel, Professor of Political Economy and Tax Legislation and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Damietta University. The thesis consisted of 3 chapters, where the first chapter dealt with "the evolution of the monetary system", while the second chapter dealt with "what digital currencies are" and the third chapter was devoted to discussing "cryptocurrencies and the monetary policy of central banks". The discussion and judgment committee consisted of Professor Dr. Rabeh Rateeb Basta, a full-time professor of political economy and tax legislation, the former Vice President of Bani Suef University and the supervisor of the Faculty of Law at Sohag University as the head of the committee, with the membership of Professor Mostafa Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Damietta University, and Professor Dr. Reda Abd Al Salam, Professor of Law Political Economy and Tax Legislation, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs at Mansoura University, and the former Governor off Al – Sharkia Governorate. The discussion lasted about two hours, in which the committee found that the researcher has mastered the skills of scientific research. The committee decided unanimously, "Approval of the thesis. The committee unanimously suggested granting the researcher a master's degree in law with an excellent grade with honors." This is the first master's thesis discussed at the Faculty of Law at Damietta University since the start of graduate studies there. On this occasion, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, on his own behalf and on behalf of the university’s affiliates, extends his best congratulations to Major Hani Al-Baily, and also congratulates the Faculty of Law on the completion of its first discussion, wishing all researchers all success.
