On Monday 15/ 10/ 2018 Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour  the president of the University launched the 6th marathon in Damietta University entitled (on the anniversary of crossing Egypt goes up) under the supervision of Professor Dr. Tarek Abo El Maati,  the vice President for Education and Students Affairs and organized by Professor Dr. Mohamad Abo Shwareb, the dean of the  Faculty of Physical Education. The university students participated in the  marathon , then The prizes were awarded to the winners of the first three position and certificates of appreciation for students participating in the marathon.  

The first three winners from Faculty of Physical Education:-

The 1^st – Raoof Mourad Abo El Soud.

The 2^nd _ Mohab Moneer Ibraheem.

The 3^rd _ Moaaz Gehad Ezzat El Sabaa.
