On Monday , 29/10/2018, the University Council held its session  # 111 in the new campus of the University. Headed by ,the  President of the University Professor , Dr El Sayed Mohamad Dadour who welcomed Professor , Dr. Manal Awad Mekhaeel , The  Governor of Damietta.  Dr. Dadour welcomed  the attendees , then he stressed the regularity of the examinations and the speed of completion of grading process and the announcement of the results. He confirmed on the  completion of the university procedures for joining the Federation of Francophone Universities .  He mentioned  ( the best university competition )  which launched by President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi  to evaluate universities .
