On Sunday 29 / 11/ 2020 Professor  Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour -the president of the university welcomed  H.E. Ambassador Reda Al-Taify – the director of the Misr Public Libraries Fund and Mr. Ahmed Aman – the  coordinator of Misr Public Libraries, in the presence of the Vice Presidents of the University. During the meeting, Ambassador Reda Al Tayfi praised the level of construction at the new campus, which trumps a large number of international universities that he witnessed during his tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an ambassador to a number of foreign countries. The President of the University also addressed the societal role of the university, and the idea of ??establishing a historical museum at the new campus that includes the holdings of the celebrity of Damietta who have various achievements at all levels, whether literary, cultural or scientific which will develop the university’s youth’s awareness of the prominent personalities and celebrity in Damietta. This museum will preserve the Damietta heritage and contribute to enriching the university’s societal role.
