The Science, Technology and Development Funding Authority (STDF), in cooperation with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), announces opening applying for scientific cooperation programs between Egypt and Japan as follows:

• Joint scientific cooperation projects:

The main goal of this program is to support partnerships between the two sides and enhance cooperation between Egyptian and Japanese research teams in priority research projects and common interest between the two sides, in the fields of (water - energy - food / agriculture - health - information and communications technology)

Project duration: a maximum of two years, with financing 290 thousand Egyptian pounds for the Egyptian side (145 thousand / year).

• Scientific workshops and seminars:

It includes all scientific fields, humanities, and social sciences, with funding 85 thousand Egyptian pounds for the Egyptian side for a week.

The deadline for receiving applications is September 5, 2023, at 2 p.m., Egypt
