/ 2019 there has been several activities at Damietta University .
Professor Dr .El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university inaugurated the event with "Girl for Egypt" festival. Professor Dr. Tarek M. Abou Elmaaty, the vice President for Education and Students' Affairs, Professor Dr.Mohamad Abo Shwareb –the dean of the faculty of Physical Education and Dr. Eveline Matta Boutros- member of the Parliament. In which there were competitions among girls in (football, volleyball, table tennis, speedball, chess, karate, recreational games). Dr. Dadour attended the doctoral discussion was held by the Omani researcher Amal Bent Sarid Al-Hatalia, PhD researcher at the Faculty of Education.
Dr. Dadour also welcomed to Sohad El Khodary - Journalist in Al-Watan newspaper, who shed light on the university and its activities . The Faculty of Archeology also carried out a field training visit to some of Damietta's Islamic monuments, specifically the mosques of Al-Maeny and Amr Bin Al-Aas.
