On Sunday 21 l 7 l 2019  Al-Ahram Al-Masai published a report on the role of Damietta University in community participation  through the development and the urban coordination of the regions and areas within the governorate. Where the university started with  New Damietta according to the coordination between Professor Dr . El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university and Eng. Mohamad Ragab- head of the New Damietta Development Authority , in which  some areas have been identified and decorated with the participation of the colleges of Applied Arts, Specific  Education and Agriculture.
