On Sunday 15 / 11 / 2020,   Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour  the president of the university welcomed ,   Professor Dr. Abd Al- Hamid Khedr, Vice President of The University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Faculty of Science, to sign the contract for the development of the microanalysis laboratory for air and climate change research at the Faculty of Science concluded with the Higher Education Development Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education. The contract aims to obtain accreditation for the laboratory for accurate analyzes of air and climate change research, in accordance with laboratory quality standards ISO/IEC 17025/2017،. This in turn contributes mainly to the upgrading of the laboratory infrastructure and laboratory to ensure the objectivity and accuracy of its results for all tests. Obtaining the international accreditation for the laboratory will also contribute to strengthening the building of strong professional and personal relationships with the surrounding environment and enhancing the societal role by providing services to a wide sector of the surrounding industrial community using the best professional competencies and modern scientific methods with commitment to the highest quality levels in providing laboratory services. The project will also contribute to providing training programs, expertise and technical support to develop the capabilities of the faculty members, the assisting body, and researchers.
