On Sunday 24 / 1 / 2021 , Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the  President of the university, met the officials of the Arab Contractors Company in the presence of Professor Dr. Tarek Al Metwaly – the dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the  Engineering Advisor to the President of the University , Eng. Hanan Al-Halafawy, Director General of the General Administration of Engineering Affairs, and Mr. Ihab Fawzi, Director of the Budget Department . The projects in progress which are, the third phase, which includes 4 central terraces, and the infrastructure project of the university campus and the Olympic Village, were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Arab Contractors:

Eng. Ramzy Mahmoud - Head of the Delta Sector.

Eng. Yousry Abd Al Razek - North Delta Branch Manager.

Eng. Youssef Noseer - Director of Damietta Region.

Eng / Mohamad El-Sherbiny - Director of Construction Projects in Damietta.

After that, the President of the University and the company officials went to the aforementioned projects to find out the current status of those projects.

The university president emphasized the necessity of completing all the infrastructure project works for linking the first and second phase, the administrative buildings and the general administration building of the university because of its great and effective role in facilitating movement between those stages .

The company officials assured that the works will be delivered at the specified times because the Damietta University project represents a great importance to the Arab Contractors Company, especially the Delta sector.
