Professor Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university welcomed  the student in the fifth grade of primary school /  Omar Ehab Balah - the world champion of mental mathematics competition in Malaysia 2018, Thailand 2019 for the second consecutive year. The meeting was attended by the family of the student and Professor Ali Shuaib from the Egyptian Radio and Professor Ahmed Shoulah from the Damietta Culture Palace. During the meeting the president of the university asked him about the college he wishes to join in the future. The student reported his desire to join the faculty of Engineering, so the President of the University accompanied him on a tour inside the College of Engineering. After the end of the tour, the president of the university kindly honored the student by gifting him the Oscar of the university and the university logo pin in appreciation of his scientific excellence in mathematics and encouraging him to raise the name of our dear country, Egypt all over the world. The world champion expressed his wish to one day become a scientist, and the university president explained to him the way he would deliver from academic excellence and graduating in postgraduate studies, masters, doctorate and promotion research until he gets a professorship degree. He wished him continued excellence and asked him to work hard until one day he will  become President of Damietta University.
