Professor  Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghafar , The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of the Supreme Council of Universities issued Resolution No. (250) of 2019 of  establishing a unit for monitoring and studying community problems as a special unit of the community service and environmental development sector at Damietta University based on the approval of Damietta University Council and then the Supreme Council of Universities to establish this unit in order to study and analyze all social problems in Damietta scientifically and academically.
