On Saturday 21 / 9/ 2019 professor  Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour The President of the university welcomed students at the beginning of the new academic year in the presence of Professor Dr. Abd El Hamed El Sayed  Khedr- the vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development , professor  Dr. Hemdan Rabie – the vice president for Postgraduate Studies and Research, professor  Dr. Ahmed Wanas- the  dean of the Faculty of Agriculture ,  Professor Dr. Hatem Idrees – the dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, vice deans and a number of faculty members.

On the occasion of the start of the new academic year, the President of the University inaugurated the workshop of the Department of Spinning and Weaving after modernization and development, as well as the workshop of the automated section, which contains the latest textile machine in Egyptian universities and research institutes (Jacquard), which is used in practical training for students and the production of graduation projects and serve scientific research
