On Sunday 22 / 9/ 2019 Professor  Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university attended reception for incoming students at the campus in New Damietta City in the presence of Professor Dr. Abd El Hamed El Sayed  Khedr -the vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development , professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie - the vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, professor Dr. Tarek Al Metwaly- the dean of the Faculty of Engineering and  a number of faculty members.  Then Dr. Dadour went to meet a number of students where he welcomed students emphasizing the  attention should be given to student activities. He urged the Student Welfare Department to hold cultural seminars for students, organize targeted trips and organize various competitions in the fields of Sports, Scouting, Arts and other fields. He also thanked the Students' Union who welcomed their new colleagues at the beginning of the new academic year.
