On Thursday 18 / 3 / 2021, Professor   Dr . El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university issued the executive decision to appoint Professor  Dr. Tarek  Abd Al-Hamed Al-Metwaly as a dean of the College of Engineering for a period of 3 years. And that is based on the decision of the President of the Republic issued in this regard. The President of the University conferred to Professor  Dr. Tarek  Al-Metwaly the decision to appoint him the dean of the College of Engineering, wishing him more success and repayment and  he thanked him for his efforts that began with establishing and operating the college, and equipping it with the latest laboratories and equipment. Dr. Metwaly pledged to continue developing and upgrading the academic and administrative system at the College of Engineering, and to work in the coming period to develop several academic programs and to work on starting postgraduate studies at the college.
