Today, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, Damietta University celebrated the anniversary of the glorious October War victories, as part of a series of university symposia and celebrations, the forty-eighth anniversary of the victories of the October 1973 war. Professor Dr . El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university welcome Colonel Professor Dr. Sayed Helmy Abd Al-Khaleq, the military advisor to Damietta Governorate, and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Nabil El-Jarayhi, Director of the Ceremonial Military Education Department at the University President’s Office, congratulating them and the Egyptian Armed Forces on the anniversary of the glorious October War victories, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research. After that, the President of the University, Colonel Dr. Said Helmy Abd Al-Khaleq, the vice deans , and Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed Nabil Al-Jaraihi went to the celebration, which was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, headed by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the new campus, and the preparation of members of the administrative apparatus In the General Administration of Student Welfare under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed Refaat, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfa

The celebration was attended by a number of deans and deans of faculties, members of the teaching staff and the supporting staff, and a number of male and female students. During the university’s president’s speech, he thanked all the organizers of the symposium and its positive aspects to enhance the patriotic sense among the university’s students, especially with the presence of Colonel Dr.  Said Helmy Abdel Khaleq, the military advisor to Damietta Governorate, which the university is honored to be present today at The university's celebration of this anniversary, which will remain a milestone in the history of our beloved homeland, Egypt.
