Under the auspices of Prof. /El Sayed Mohamed Dador - the University President and the supervision of Prof. / Wael Farouk Al-Taybani - Vice President for Education & Student Affairs, a competition was held on Wednesday 23/9/2020 at the university campus to select the team representing the university in the Genius Universities (Alabakera Season 3)

Eighty two students from Damietta University have participated in the qualifying rounds that started with 20-minute written test compatible with genius program. Then have a personal interview with Dr. Amr Hilali - responsible for the team training, Mrs. Hala Abdel Salam – the department manager of the Cultural Activity. And Mrs. Dina Al-Essawy- Scientific Activity Specialist
