On Monday 28 / 12/ 2020, The University Council in its session  # 153 headed by Professor Dr. El Sayed  Mohamad  Dadour  the president of the University, adopted  the University Awards for the academic year 2019/2020 based on the presentation of the Higher Committee for University Awards, as follows:   * University Appreciation Award for Basic Sciences : Professor Dr. Mamdouh Abd Al Meneim Soufan - Full-time professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science and former University President.

* University Appreciation Award for Literature and Arts : Professor Dr. Tarek Mohamad Abu Al-Maati – Professor at Department of Textile Printing, College of Applied Arts, and Former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

*The University Appreciation Award for Social and Human Science:. Professor Dr. Mohamad Hassan Al Morsy - Full-Time Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods at the Faculty of Education .

*University award for scientific excellence in the field of basic science: Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Mohsen Ramadan – Professor at the Department of Physics, College of Science.

*University Award for Scientific Creativity in the Field of Basic Sciences: Professor Dr. Moustafa Mohamad Selim – Professor at the Department of Physics, College of Science.

*University Incentive Award in the Field of Basic Sciences: Dr. Eman Asaad Gamal – Lecturer at the Department of Physics, College of Science.
