On Monday , 24/2/2020, the University Council held its session  # 135 at  the university campus, headed by the  president of the university professor , Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour who welcomed the attendees and thanked parliament members for supporting the university in the file of establishing the Faculty of Human Medicine at the university and support the construction of the University Academic Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine in Damietta who presented the file to the Prime Minister, who kindly instructed for taking what is necessary.

The council  discussed many topics and issued several decisions such as :

Directing the deans to pay attention to student activities and follow the procedures accepted within the university to complete the steps of implementing the activities.

Forming a higher committee of experts to prepare a form for the semi-annual evaluation of the performance of the university's administrative staff.

Rehabilitation of one of the administrative buildings to become liquid laboratories for the Faculty of Medicine, under construction.

Re-submit the file of the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine to the Supreme Council of Universities in light of the support of the parliament members .
