The Department of Green plants and ornamental at the Faculty of Agriculture continues practical training for students at the new campus , led by Professor / Norhan Fawzy Ahmed Al-Habashy, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. / Nahed Mustafa Rashid, Head of the Department and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mohamad Nour Al deen Hammad, Acting Dean faculty of Agriculture. Students are trained to learn about plants of all kinds and their impact by all different climatic factors as well as the agricultural operations that take place in the nurseries of various plants. Students also learn the names of the different ornamental plants from annals, trees, shrubs, bulbs and cactuses, In light of strengthening the mission of the Green plants and ornamental department in preparing scientific cadres trained in the specialization and preparing it practically and theoretically for innovations and improvement of breeds in the various specialization crops, And to keep pace with the needs of the local and regional labor market and who are able to conduct advanced scientific research and transfer scientific and applied results to society and the environment to keep pace with global developments, as well as to involve them in planting the university and expanding the green area of ??the university's campus.
